We start our journey at the entrance to Tawnyard Forest and follow the downhill trail which is sure to give you an adrenaline rush as you cycle into the heart of Tawnyard Forest.
Continuing over the Owenwee river the down hill trail dives through the forest to the Erriff River where we take in the distant views of Killary Harbour. This is our next destination as we take the road under the shadow of the "Devilsmother" mountain.
On arrival at Killary Harbour we stop for a well earned rest to enjoy some refreshments at the majestic Aasleagh Falls.
From here we take the coast road along Killary Harbour, as you cycle you will find yourself side by side with the water as the barrier of the road brings you that close to the Harbour's edge.
We then travel towards the valleys of the mountains, as we cycle towards Doo Lough lake you notice suddenly the mountain of Ben Creggan rise around you.
Its here we complete the loop on our last leg (and by no means least) of the journey. This part is the climb of the valley between the Sheeffry Hills and Ben Creggan towards our starting point at Tawnyard Forest (which will more than likely be a distant memory with the amount of scenery you will have taken in).
